This Privacy Policy explains how Medvigil ("Medvigil", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit medvigilai.site or contact us. Medvigil is based in Lagos, Nigeria.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the early-access or contact form, we collect:

• your full name and email address;
• your company name, company size and primary use case (early-access form);
• the topic and content of your message; and
• the page you submitted from and the time of submission.

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and email infrastructure records standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, to deliver the website, protect it from abuse and diagnose errors. The website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.

Interactive demo

The product demo on our home page runs entirely in your browser using fictional sample data. Nothing you do in the demo is sent to us or stored.

2. How we use your information

• to respond to your enquiry or early-access request;
• to arrange product walkthroughs and share information you asked for;
• to keep the website secure and working; and
• to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that affects you.

3. Legal basis

We process form submissions on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@medvigilai.site.

4. Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the website and deliver messages:

• Amazon Web Services: website hosting, the form processing function and email delivery (AWS Amplify, AWS Lambda, Amazon SES).
• Google Fonts: web fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address when the fonts are requested.

These providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where they do, we rely on their contractual and technical safeguards for international transfers.

5. Retention

We keep enquiry and early-access records for as long as we need them to respond and maintain a business relationship, and for no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Technical logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting configuration.

6. Security

Data is sent to us over HTTPS. Access to form submissions is limited to the people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict its processing, or receive a copy of it. To make a request, email hello@medvigilai.site. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

8. Children

The website is intended for business users and is not directed at children.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
